epoc System Wireless Communication
epoc Mobile Computers communicate wirelessly to any in-range wireless access points within the facility, maintaining a continuous network connection to the epoc Data Manager. The epoc web-based Data Manager serves as an administrative workstation from any remote, networked computer. The Data Manager is used to consolidate and manage all epoc point-of-care data, devices, operators and inventory and is easily interfaced to the hospital's LIS/HIS via a standard HL7 interface.
